iACEs for November and December

Just a couple more ideas for iACES from the email you all received!
Thanks friends!

November 10- the Wellness Fair! M works on this event as part of a collateral assignment with Health and Counseling Services so you could make sure your floor attends as a show of support! But this is a come as you are and come and go kind of event to walk through and learn something. To make it interactive you can ask M for a list of tables that will be there beforehand and challenge your residents to get information from a different table each and you can display that in the bathroom after the event so you all learn from each table even if you did not have time to stop at them all!

November 11-14- The College musical Theater event! We only have a musical every four years so this is the one time to see some amazing students sing and dance on stage! To prepare beforehand you can all go to dinner or take a floor photo of your fine artsy-ness together for the i part of iACE

November 11- RAD Event So You Think You Are An Artist- Tavia is sponsoring a crafty canvas night in Johnson Hall as a RAD event. If you all sit together while arting at this event you have the interactive part down.

November 13- TOTU- another awesome ResLife event! If you are not on the planning committee then this can be an iACE to remember. Some of the games are more fun than anything I can think of- again this is inherently interactive if you participate as a floor so come on down to pie Nate in the face!
November 15- One Big Sexy Blowout- The RC Feminists want to do some safe sex education. TO make this interactive you can also have each of your residents anonymously write down the questions they have about sex and safe sex on a piece of paper and you can google them after the event and post the answers in the hallway.
November 18- Empty Bowls- This is a program and wealth inequalities as it relates to food in the world. It is very interesting and includes a meal. There is a small fee- check with livewell@ripon.edu and the Center for Social Responsibility for more information.
December 3- Digital Makerspace Workshop about changing what the world sees when they google you. This is one of those awesome workshops from the Library. The i part of this program can be actually googling each other and finding things that are buried three or four pages in- you never know what you might find about your floormates.
